Uniondale Pre-KSchool

Uniondale School District was recognized at a press conference on October 21, 2021 with County Executive Laura Curran, elected officials and Chancellor Lester Young and Associate Commissioner Dr. Anael Alston from the New York State Department of Education for becoming a My Brother's Keeper Community. Uniondale's inaugural MBK Fellows are seniors, Darien Fray and Brandon Long.

This year’s pre-kindergarten book is All Are Welcome. On October 15, 2021, all prekindergarten children received a copy of All Are Welcome to take home and add to their personal library. All are Welcome is the #1 New York Times bestselling picture book, celebrating diversity and inclusivity.

Uniondale celebrated our first Hispanic Heritage Month Festival and Soccer Jamboree on Saturday, September 25th at Uniondale High School. Thank you to all of the soccer coaches, teachers, administrators and student volunteers who made this event a huge success. Special thanks goes to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team, Key Club, Latinos Unidos and community organizations such as the Uniondale Public Library, Book Fairies, Latina Moms Connect, Long Island Latino Teachers Association, Nassau County Office of Hispanic Affairs, the PTA and the Kiwanis Club.
